WD My Passport 6TB Portable External Hard Drive, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Micro-B, Up to 5Gb/s, 256-bit AES Hardware Encryption with Password Protection, WD Discovery and Backup Software, Bus Powered, Black (WDBR9S0060BBK-WESN)
The WD My Passport 6TB is a pocket-sized portable hard drive that adds a huge 6TB of storage to a laptop or desktop without a power adapter. It connects over USB 3.2 Gen 1 through a Micro-B port at up to 5Gb/s, so photo libraries, 4K video projects and full system backups copy across quickly. Built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption with password protection keeps your files private if the drive is lost, and the bundled WD Discovery and WD Backup utilities schedule automatic backups and can import from cloud and social accounts. At about 0.21 kg and 107 x 75 x 21 mm in a textured black finish, it drops into a bag without fuss, and Western Digital backs it with a 3-year limited warranty. PC PARK supplies it in Saudi Arabia.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the WD My Passport 6TB work with a Mac? The drive ships formatted for Windows. It works with macOS after you reformat it in Disk Utility to APFS, Mac OS Extended or exFAT, depending on whether you also want to use it on Windows.
Does it need a power adapter? No. It is bus powered and draws everything it needs from the USB port on your computer through the supplied cable.
How fast is it in practice? The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface is rated at up to 5Gb/s, but the mechanical hard disk inside is the real limit, so treat that figure as the interface ceiling rather than sustained drive throughput.
Can I put a password on the drive? Yes. The bundled WD Security utility sets a password that activates the built-in 256-bit AES hardware encryption, so the data cannot be read without it.
What cable comes in the box? A USB Micro-B to USB-A cable is supplied. If your computer only has USB-C ports, you will need a USB-A to USB-C adapter or a Micro-B to USB-C cable.
What is the difference between this and the 5TB My Passport? Capacity and part number. The 6TB model (WDBR9S0060BBK-WESN) is very slightly thicker at about 20.6 mm to fit the extra platter, and is otherwise the same drive.
What warranty does it carry? Western Digital provides a 3-year limited warranty on the My Passport, and PC PARK supports the warranty locally in Saudi Arabia.
Is the WD My Passport 6TB available in Saudi Arabia? Yes. PC PARK supplies the genuine WD My Passport 6TB (WDBR9S0060BBK-WESN) in Saudi Arabia with local warranty and fast delivery to Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and the rest of the Kingdom.
